BRISTOW, RICHARD LEE - Age 79, of Napoleon Township, passed away September 19, 2011 at the Allegiance Hospice Home. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Betty M.; three children, Carolyn (Robert) Garbarino of Sterling Heights, Martha of Jackson and David (Chris) Bristow of Michigan Center; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and sister, Margaret Foster of Florida. He retired as a route salesmen with Banner Linen Service after 41 years of employment, enjoyed golfing, member of Teamsters Local #164, The American Legion Wilber Bartlett Post in Brooklyn and Napoleon Lodge #301 Free and Accepted Masons. He also belonged to the Brooklyn Presbyterian Church where a Memorial Service honoring his life will be held Friday 11 a.m. with the Reverend Christine Barnes officiating. Visitation one hour prior to service. Cremation has taken place. Contributions in his memory are directed to his church or the Allegiance Hospice Home. www.Mlive.com/obits
