Frances M. (Mrs. Arnold) Rutz, age 92, of Morristown, died on Monday, September 19, 2011, at the Plum House, Morristown.
Funeral services will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church, North Morristown, on Thursday, September 22, 2011, at 10:30 a.m. with the Reverend Merle Lebahn officiating. Interment will be at Concordia Cemetery, North Morristown.
Visitation will be at the Boldt Funeral Home, Faribault, on Wednesday, September 21, from 4 to 7 p.m. and also at church for one hour prior to the service on Thursday.
Frances Marie, the daughter of Benjamin H. and Anna M. (Seger) Wiese, was born on March 23, 1919, in Musselshell, Mont. She married Arnold Rutz on October 15, 1936, at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Morristown, and he preceded her in death on June 11, 1986. Frances was previously employed at the Faribo Woolen Mill, as a bus driver for Morristown School, as a truck driver for Rutz Sand and Gravel and she and Arnold ran Rutz Shoe Store of Morristown for many years.
She is survived by three children, Judy (and Thomas) Clausen of Armstrong, Iowa; Sandra (and Gene) Lindahl of Morristown, and Charles (and Beverly) Rutz of Jordan; nine grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; three step great-grandchildren; and one step great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Arnold; two sisters, Irene Gehrke and Dorothy Palmer; two brothers, Richard and Benjamin Wiese; and twin great-great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be directed to Trinity Lutheran Church, North Morristown.
