Mary Alice Atkins

Mary Alice Atkins, 90, of Kearney, formerly of Halsey, died Sept. 18, 2011, at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney. Services will be at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 24, at the United Church of Christ in Purdum with the Rev. Stan Murdoch officiating. Burial will be at the Purdum Cemetery with Govier Bros. Mortuary of Broken Bow in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 23, with the family greeting friends from 5-7 p.m. at Govier Bros. Mortuary.

Mary Alice Atkins, 90, of Kearney, formerly of Halsey died Sunday, Sept. 18, 2011, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney. Mary Alice was born July 12, 1921, at Callaway to Walter M. and Maude (Manion) Brittan. Mary Alice was married to Roy S. Atkins on June 24, 1942. He preceded her in death.
