His full name was Jesse Lionel Browne.
He was born in Washington County, Texas.
He died in Victor, Erath County, Texas. John the community of Victor no longer exists according to the Texas Handbook, only a cemetery remains. But that's what is on his Texas Death Certificate.
Another glitch is that when he was born his last name was Brown, his Texas Death Certificate has it as Brown. His father was Brown. In his 1870, 1880, an 1900 US Census it's Brown. Then in the 1910 US Census it's Browne. An all of his 10 children switched from Brown to Browne as well. I don't guess we'll ever know why!
His father Joseph Samuel Brown, memorial # 55514680.
His mother was Keziah Adaline Gray-Brown, memorial # 120254562. Her burial site is unknown. There are other researchers that say she died in Salty, Milam County, but there wasn't a memorial for her so I created one(no cemetery) so I could link all the family members.
