Columbiana--Mrs. Alice C. Kirk, 82, of RD 2 died of a stroke in Salem City Hospital. She had been hospitalized for 10 weeks.
Born April 20, 1886, in Westmoreland County, Pa., the daughter of Albert and Phoebe Ashton Cope, she had lived in the community for many years. She was a member of the Middleton Friends Meeting.
Survivors include her husband, Louis J. Kirk, whom she married in 1913; a daughter, Mrs. Florence Sidwell of Columbiana; three sons, Dr. Robert of Smithvale, O., and Edward and Morris of Columbiana; 16 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
The family's favorite charity is the American Friends Service Committee.
