Jess Monroe Morrow was born in Caddo Co. Ok. to James Zachariah and Nancy Caroline (Carrie) Sloan Morrow. The eldest of 12 children.He married Grace Arnetta Brumley on 9/23/1924 in Ok. They moved to Arizona shortly there after to Maricopa Co. They had three children: Basil Lee (8/6/1925-4/17/2010), Thomas James(5/3/1930 - 5/7/2006) and Donna Lavaughn (1/4/1933 - 9/8/2010). Jess worked a farm and also had a construction business before moving to Calif. in the late 1940s. Jess was a member of the Church of Christ, a kind and gentle man who never spoke ill of anyone.
