Mrs. Eunice Barnett, age 83 of Goldonna, died Monday, August 25, 2006 at Lincoln General Hospital in Ruston following a lengthy illness.
Mrs. Barnett was a life-long resident of Brewton's Mill and was born July 16, 1923 to Sam B. Taylor and Bertha Brewton Taylor.
Friends may call on the family Saturday, August 26, 2006 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Southern Funeral Home in Jonesboro. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, August 27, 2006 at Antioch Community Church, near Goldonna, with Revs. Doyle McGrew and Huey White officiating. Interment will be at Antioch Cemetery.
Mrs. Barnett is survived by her husband, Loyd C. Barnett; 3 sons, Chris Barnett of Brewton's Mill, Greyland Barnett and L. C. Barnett, both of Calvin; 4 daughters, Carol Womack of Brewton's Mill, Brenda Green of Dodson, Terri Carter of Converse, Velvet Womack of Quitman; sister, Bernice White of Brewton's Mill; 14 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; a host of nieces, newphews, other relatives and friends.
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
