Sweetlips, TN - Marvin Edward Weaver, age 63, passed away September 15, 2011 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.

He was born in Jackson, TN (Madison County), the son of the late Clarence Paul and Lorene Kemp Weaver. He went to school at Beech Bluff and graduated High School in 1966. He went into the U.S. Air Force in 1967 and served in Vietnam, and returned home in 1969. He married Ruth Gaffney in 1971. They made their home in the Sweetlips community all their married life. He had worked at Neo Products at Magic Valley for over 30 years and retired in 2010. He was a member of the National Rifle Association, he loved fishing and was a member of the Sweetlips Baptist Church.

Mr. Weaver is survived by his wife, Ruthie Gaffney Weaver of Sweetlips; a daughter, Jamie Weaver of Pocahontas; two sons, Gregg Weaver of Ohio and Michael Weaver of Sweetlips; 8 grandchildren; three sisters, Cecilia Washburn of Jackson, Karen McCarver of Mercer and Sandra Weaver of Jackson.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Larry Weaver in September 2001.
