Randall A. Knoll, 66, Osage Beach, Mo., died at 7:12 a.m. on Sept. 16, 2011, at his daughter's home in Morton, Ill. Cremation will be accorded. A funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 21, at Holy Cross Catholic Church, West Fargo. Burial of the ashes will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Fargo.
Visitation will be held from 9 to 10 a.m. Wednesday at the church.
He was born June 17, 1945, in Mandan, to Anton H. and Martha (Stamaris) Knoll. He married Jean Lyon in 1968. Randall worked 40 years at Unocal 76 and later CITGO Petroleum, retiring in 2007.
An Army veteran, he was a member of the American Legion in Sunrise Beach, Mo., and the Knights of Columbus in Camdenton, Mo.
Surviving are one daughter, Jody (Shawn) Myers, Morton, Ill.; two sons, Zachary (Kassie) Knoll, Mount Zion, Ill., and Jake Knoll (Dana Stevens), Osage Beach, Mo.; seven grandchildren; his father and mother, Anton "Tony" and Martha Knoll, Fargo; three sisters, Clare Francis, Grand Forks, Jane (Dave) Fick, Fargo, and Lou (Tom) Wetzel, Grand Forks; and one brother, Henry (Brenda) Knoll, West Fargo
