Margaret Ellender D'Haillecourt, 87, died Tuesday, June 30, 2009, at her home after an extended illness. She was born Dec. 1, 1921, in Sesser, Ill., to Bryan and Mattie McBride Eubanks. She married the Rev. Arthur D'Haillecourt in 1941. She lived in Memphis and in the Amory area for the past 20 years. She was a homemaker and a devoted pastor's wife. She was a member of the Cason Baptist Church and an active member of the Cason Baptist Golden Believers. She enjoyed gardening, cooking and her family.

Burial will be in the Haughton Memorial Park.

Survivors include her husband of 67 years, the Rev. Arthur D'Haillecourt of Amory; two sons, Henry D'Haillecourt (Pat) of Paducah, Ky., and Barry D'Haillecourt (Suzanne) of Amory; three daughters, Judith D'Haillecourt, Joan Hood and Amy Hester, all of Amory; two brothers, Bill Eubanks of Kankakee, Ill., and Harry Eubanks of Watson, Ill.; three sisters, Edith Guthrie of Pinckneyville, Ill., Dorothy Pitchford of Mt. Vernon, Ill., and Mildred Tate of Dix, Ill.; 14 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Leslie, Cecil and Howard Eubanks; five grandchildren, Sabrina Brown, Anthony Hood, Lisa D'Haillecourt, Cary D'Haillecourt and Denissa Hester; and one great-grandchild, Brandon Sprouse.
