George STROHM b. Sep 16. 1873. d.13 Nov 1942 Chicago, Cook, Illinois Son of Christopher and Nancy STROHM. He married Jan 12, 1898, Tabitha HATFIELD b. 1879 d.1960. In 1900 the family lived on Walnut St. in Owensville Township. Gibson County. IN and within only a couple years after his father Christopher passed away, they moved across the Wabash River to Willow Swamp Rd in neighboring Mt. Carmel, Wabash County, Illinois. In 1900 George's mother Nancy listed that she had given birth to 7 children but at that time only 2 were still living. George reports that census year that his father was from Bavaria. In 1910 George reports his occupation as a Horse Trader. Georges middle initial sometimes reported as a R and sometimes as a W. By 1920 George and his family is living on E 6th St.
