David M. "Dave" Yeager, 58, of rural Lafayette near Delphi, died unexpectedly at 9:42 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 17, 2011, in the emergency room at St. Elizabeth East hospital.
He was born May 5, 1953 in Lafayette to the late William Marc and Betty Jean Pattison Yeager. He was also preceded in death by one brother, Alan Yeager.
Surviving are two daughters, Michelle Canen (husband: Cody) of Lafayette and Elaine Goodman (husband: Kyu) of Oakland, California and a nephew, Josh Yeager (wife: Rhonda).
He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War. He served as a police officer, first with the Lafayette Police Department for a brief time and then for more than 25 years with the Delphi Police Department.
