She was born January 24, 1923, in Baylor City, Texas.
She was a retired first grade school teacher for the Maud Independent School District and was a member of the Beverly Heights Church of Christ. She was a member of the Lions Club, the Ladies Auxiliary of the Fleet Reserve, TEEA, the Literacy Council, and the Retired Teachers Association.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, R. C. Graves and Steve Kasner.
She is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Shirley and William Pierce, Carol and Brad Hall and Janet and Elwood Smith; one step-daughter, Lois Kasner; one sister and brother-in-law, Joan and Jerry Martin; eleven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren and a number of other relatives.
