MRS. CLIFTON, 91, DIES HERE; FUNERAL AT MIDWAY CHURCH
Mrs. Catherine Clifton, 91, died last night at 7:20 o'clock at the home of her son, D. B. Clifton, 315 Johnson street. She had been ill for the past two weeks.
Mrs. Clifton was born and reared in Randolph County, and was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Ficklin, pioneer settlers of the county. Her husband, Minor Clifton, died November 6, 1922.
She is survived by five sons, Will Clifton, Huntsville, H. B. and I. B. Clifton, Long Beach, Cal., and Hugh and D. B. Clifton, Moberly; eight grandchildren and seven great-children.
Funeral services will be conducted Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Midway Church, northwest of Huntsville, by the Rev. J. H. Lynn and the Rev. Fred Adams of Huntsville. Burial will be in Clifton Hill cemetery.
