HALE, Nadine Rosemond Harrison, (''Rose""), the beloved mother of Skippy, Cindy, and Barry, passed away Wednesday, December 17, 1997, surrounded by her family. Nadine was born on November 1, 1915 and lived in Vinton, Va. for most of her life, except for a brief number of years. She is the daughter of the late Homer and Louemma Frasier Harrison. Nadine is also preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow W. Hale, Sr., a daughter-in-law, Linda Faye Motley Hale, and a special grandson, Thomas Wayne Hale. Nadine leaves her three children, sons, Woodrow W. Hale, Jr. and special friend, Carolyn, Barry Craig Hale and wife, Connie, and daughter, Cynthia Rose Hale Caudill and husband, Dave. Also surviving is her sister, Isabelle Harrison Baker; three grandchildren, Carol Sue Hale Petersen and husband, Nick, Barry Nathan Hale and Ernest Harrison Hale. Also, one great-grandson, Anthony Wayne Hale and granddaughter-in-law, Patricia A. Hale; special niece, Luana Rose Baker Smith and nephew, Christopher D. Baker, Jr. Nadine also leaves many nieces, nephews and many special friends. Funeral services will be conducted from the graveside, Mountain View Cemetery in Vinton.
