COVERT - Warren Everhart, 81, of Covert passed away Wednesday, Sept. 14, 2011, at Lakeland Regional Medical Center, St. Joseph.
The family will meet friends 9:30 to 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 16, at the Bangor Chapel, D.L. Miller Funeral Home, where the funeral service will be 11 a.m. with Pastor Duane Jones officiating. Interment will follow in Thomas Cemetery.
Warren was born on Jan. 23, 1930, in Covert to Chester and Erma (Loomis) Everhart. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force, retiring on July 27, 1977, during his retirement, he enjoyed gardening, fishing and traveling.
On Sept. 15, 1992, Warren married the love of his life, Daliene Nutting Lucker. When Warren married Daliene, he also inherited five children and their families; Doug Lucker and his children Sarah (Alex) Roussakis and Phillip (Colleen) Lucker; Karen (William) Hill and her daughter Donna (Robert) Youngsma; David Lucker and his daughter Alyssa Lucker; Robert (Rose) Lucker and their son Ryan (Tori) Lucker; and Lisa (Ronald) Fairbanks. Great-grandchildren include: Alec, Briley, Brea, Braedyn and Clayton.
Also surviving are his brother, Lloyd Everhart and his wife Pat; sister Arlis and her husband Jim Heller; brother-in-law, Darold (Ruth) Nutting and sister-in-law, Dayla (Larry) MacKinder, many nieces and nephews, Kathie Lucker and one very special best friend, his dog, Katie.
In addition to his parents, Warren was preceded by his first wife, Mary.
