JUNCTION CITY - Melville C. "Mel" Day, 80, retired automobile salesman, died Sunday. Service 2 p.m. Wednesday, Mass-Hinitt-Alexander Funeral Home.

Survivors: wife, Florence; daughter, Mary Ann Whidden of Tampa, Fla.; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren. Memorial has been established with the American Diabetes Association.
