John is buried in Snow Hill Cemetery, Blue Ridge, Collin, Texas. He died sometime after 1920.

Now the info I have is that Hugh Woody (1812)father of John M Woody returned to the Choctaw Territory and claimed his rights and all descendents are on the rolls and entitled to benefits. Eda (John's mother)is buried at the Bethlehem Cemetery, Collin Co.

FYI...Hugh Woody and Thomas F Driggers were also both at the Brush Battalion rendezvous at Oxford Lake, Nov.1863, 3 miles south of Snow Hill.
