MRS. BEULAH BOGGS DIES HERE MON.
Mrs. Beulah Mae Boggs died Monday morning at her home in Franklin. She was 63.
Mrs. Boggs was an active member and worker in the Farm Women's Club and Potomac Valley Garden Club and she had been active in 4-H Club work and was serving as historian of the Franklin Prebyterian Church.
She was born at Sugar Grove August 25, 1905, and was a daughter of Arthur and Louie Smith Eckard.
She is survived by her husband, Charles H. Boggs, Sr; a daughter, Mrs. Veron P. (Charlotte) Allen of Reynoldsburg, Ohio; two sons, Dr. Charles H. Boggs, Jr. of Salem, Va., and William B. Boggs of Reynoldsburg; three sisters, Mrs. O. W. Fisher, Jr. of Harrisonburg, Va., Mrs. Ralph Waggy of Spring Creek, Va., and Mrs. F. A. Meyerhoffer of Richmond, Va.; three brothers, Cameron Eckard of Harrisonburg, Veron Eckard of Sugar Grove and Arthur T. Eckard of Sun City Center, Fla.; and eight grandchildren.
A funeral was conducted Wednesday morning at 11 o'clock at the Franklin Presbyterian Church by the Rev. J. Wilson Rowe, Jr., and interment was by Brown Funeral Service in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
