HENDERSON, Ky. -- Elizabeth Mae Pruitt Critser, 83, died Sunday, July 4, 1999, at Methodist Hospital.
She had worked at Dixie Lou Dress Factory for 15 years and at Community Methodist Hospital for 15 years. After retiring, she was a Headstart Granny and a volunteer at Community Methodist Hospital.
She was a member of Eastview Baptist Church, a 40-year member of Eastern Star and a Kentucky Colonel.
Surviving are three sons, Roy of Zion, Wayne of Henderson and Reedy of Evansville; two sisters, Margaret Cloutier of Henderson and Alice Weber of Moline, Ill.; two brothers, Robert Pruitt of Henderson and Roy Pruitt of Bedford, Ky.; seven grandchildren; nine great- grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
Her husband, Roy Lacy, died in 1971, and a daughter, Mary Rose Critser, died in 1941.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Rudy-Rowland Funeral Home, with burial in Fairmont Cemetery.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today, from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and from 8 a.m. to service time at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
