Livingston Enterprise September 27, 1935

Elmo Bilbrey, 65, farmer and highly respected citizen of the Netherlands community of the 1st district of Overton County, died at his home Tuesday, September 24th at 2 o'clock a.m. of heart trouble after a lingering illness.
He was a son of the late J K P Bilbrey and Millie Jane Sutton Bilbrey.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Katie Newberry Bilbrey; three daughters, Edith Atkins, Hallie and Bessie Bilbrey; two sons, J B and Polk Bilbrey; three sisters, Mrs. Etta Jackson, Mrs. Florence Harris and Mrs. Asalee Little, all of Overton County; and one brother, Shelby Bilbrey of Putnam County.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning at the Polk Bilbrey cemetery near Oak Hill, with burial there.
