DURN STRONG DIES IN DOCTOR'S OFFICE
As he sat in the reception room of the offices of Dr. E. J. Hall on Main street, waiting to see the physician last Wednesday evening, Durn Strong, 70, of Beeny Road, died suddenly of a heart attack.
His body was removed to the Zuver & Calvin funeral home where services were held Sunday afternoon with the Rev. W. R. Curtis, pastor of the Baptist church in Lawton, officiating. Burial was in the West Oshtemo cemetery.
Mr. Strong was born January 25, 1871, in Almena township, the son of Elijah and Margaret Strong, and had spent most of his life in Van Buren county. Besides his wife, Maude, of Hartford, he is survived by one son, William Strong of Otsego, and three daughters, Mrs. Florence Griffith of Lawton, Mrs. Violet Munjoy of Watervliet and Mrs. Dorothy B. Becker of Otsego. Two brothers, Levi and Michael Strong, reside in Almena.
