this photo is Lewis Mitchell Dotson and wife Minerva 'Ellen' (Conley) Dotson.

Lewis Mitchell Dotson Jr. (Mar 1855- Oct 8,1923) Began selling his land before 1905. He owned about 850 acres on Bull Creek. He had it all sold by 1906 & moved to Oklahoma in 1907. A son, Henry Marvin Dotson had died there on Apr 1, 1901. He is buried in one of the 2 cemeteries at the old place on Bull Creek. Over time---Thomas Mitchell, Albert Lee, William Jackson and Cynthia Jane made their way back to Prestonsburg. James Trimble, Celia Elizabeth, Ermin Bryan & Joseph Lewis stayed and made a go of it in Oklahoma.
