George F.H. Barber was born in the town of Delafield, Waukesha County, Sept. 1, 1850; son of Silas and Amelia Barber; educated in Waukesha Union School, Carroll College, and graduated from Princeton College, N.J., Class of 1873. He returned to Waukesha, and as been associated with his father in business until the present time. He is also owner of a farm in Waukesha County. Mr. Barber was married in Waukesha, Oct. 21, 1875, to Lydia D. Bacon; she was born in this village; they have one child, Winchell F., born July 30, 1877. Member of Royal Arcanum, and of the Presbyterian Church.
