Raymond Brock

Raymond Boyd Brock of Quitman died May 26, 2004, at the VA Hospital in Little Rock. Born January 25, 1922 in Quitman, he was 82. He was the son of the late William Boyd and Mary Etta (Fowler) Brock.

He was a retired factory worker and a Baptist. He was a Corporal in the Army Air Force in WWII during the South Pacific Theater.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. May 28 at Sand Springs Missionary Baptist Church on Hwy. 124, four miles east of Damascus, with Bro. Jim Atkinson and Otis Lyons Jr. officiating.

Interment will follow at Sand Spring Cemetery. Pallbearers will be the grandsons: Destin Brock, Jimmy John Ward, T.J. Stark, Bobby Joe Stark, Robbie Brock and Seth Brock. Honorary pallbearer will be Chester Duffey.

Arrangements are by Bishop-Griffin Funeral Home of Greenbrier.
