FUNERAL TODAY
Edward J. Agee, 78, former operator of the Agee Mfg. Co., 1741 NW 3, died at noon Tuesday in his home at 2713 NW 22.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Guardian funeral chapel with burial in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
Agee was born April 1, 1875 in Camp county, Texas, and came to Oklahoma City in 1921. He was associated with the Acme Screen Co. until 1932, at which time he purchased the company and formed the Agee Mfg. Co.
He was engaged in the manufacture of venetian blinds and millwork. He retired in 1945.
A member of the Northwest Baptist church, he is survived by his wife Lillian G., and a daughter, Mrs. Lorene Moore, of the home; two sons, Elmer J. Agee, of the home, and Robert L. Agee, 3421 NW 19; three brothers, S. A. Agee, Fort Worth, Texas; J. R. Agee, Meeker, Colo., and A. F. Agee, San Bernardino, Calif.; a sister, Mrs. Cleora Anderson, May, Texas; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
