Henry L. Green, 83, of Pope, Mississippi passed away September 6, 2011 at Baptist Hospital DeSoto. Services were held Saturday, September 10 at 11 am at Pate Jones Funeral Home in Senatobia. Burial followed in Magnolia Cemetery in Coldwater, Mississippi.
Mr. Green was a veteran of WWII having served in the Army. He was preceded in death by his wife, Polly Ann Green, his daughters, Rita Rushing Keen and Debra Ann Green, and his son Henry L. "Durl" Green. He is survived by his daughter, Betty Rushing Harvey of Senatobia, Mississippi; brother, Jim Green of Pittsboro, Mississippi; grandchildren, Ginny Pirtle and Jamie McFarlin; and great grandchildren, Alan Michael, Colby, Tyler, Nateleigh and Scott.
The family requests that any memorials be made to Liberty Hill Baptist Church in Pope, Mississippi, where he was a member.
