Jim didn't have any good father figures in his life. His own father was a dud. The one who adopted him, who's name he bore, also eventually walked out on him and his own 2 other boys. A step-father, (my dad) was only in his life for about 6 months and he was violent to him. If Jimmy treated anybody badly, or just omitted treating them right, it may be because he just didn't have a good example of what it meant to be a decent man. Jim was a sweet kid when I knew him, funny, sort of shy, always nice. And always a gentleman. I apologize to anybody who was let down. He meant the world to me and always will. I didn't get to know him long enough for him to ever treat me bad, let me down, disappoint me or make me mad. I will always love him. I was a young girl-friend but also briefly his step-sister from June 12 - Dec 16 of 1971.
