A.M. "Abb" Sullivan, 81, resident of Necessity and Union Hill community since 1895 had undergone a operation in Abilene two weeks before his death.
Funeral services were held at the Necessity School with Jesse Fambrough officiating assisted by Gordon Downing.
He moved to Cisco in 1889, to Young County in 1890 and settled at Necessity and Union Hill in 1895 where he lived as a stock farmer ever since.
Survivors: four daughters - Mrs. Willie Hope and Mrs. Minnie Cordaway; Mrs. Ada Griggsl and Mrs. Sally Crook; five sons - Herman R. Sullivan; S.A., Hop and Tom Sullivan, Charlie Sullivan; 26 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; three sisters - Mrs. Mack Byrd, Mrs. Willie Barns and Mrs. Cordie Prince; half-sister - Mrs. Fannie Learnes.
