Carrie Lee Paulk Stracener,81 passed away May 5, 2011.
She was an avid doll collector and spent many hours repairing, refurbishing and dressing both old and new acquisitions. She had no favorites she loved them all.
Carrie was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Marcus Marion Stracener, her son, Marcus Wayne Stracener and siblings Edith Buckmaster and Sonny Paulk.Carrie is survived by her daughter Linda Gail Shumaker and husband Terry of Eagan, MN, their children Jennifer, Adrienne, and Clayton; daughter, Shirley Dianne Jobe and her husband Glenn of Schaumburg, IL, their children, Rachel and Scott and Bert and his family, wife, Katie and two children Holly and Heidi; daughter Karen Sue Willard and her husband Dale of Mt. Juliet, TN and their children Melissa and Samantha; daughter in law, Carol Stracener and her children, Amanda and Megan; Siblings Ann Bailey, Elsie Lane, Betty May Beckham and Sue Garrerd.
The family will receive friends on Monday, May 9 from 5-8 pm and services with interment following will be on Tuesday, May 10 at 2 pm all at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens on Germantown Road.
