Frank Adamcik, went to be with his Lord, Thursday, September 15, 2011, from Brian's House in Bay City.

Frank was born June 3, 1935 to Frank and Emilia Adamcik in Midland, Michigan.
On December 27, 1958, he married Suzanne Kay Gromaski.

Frank was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Fisherville for over 50 years. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying years of hunting and fishing with family and friends. And as if to assure Frank that there were indeed those pleasures in Heaven, a magnificent pheasant appeared at the window by his bedside on the day he passed from this earth.

He was a gifted artist, excelling in woodworking and needlepoint, and was known far and wide for his expert pumpkin carving skills.

Frank served in the U.S. Marine Corp, and worked at Dow Chemical Company as an Instrument Journeyman for nearly 40 years, retiring in 1993.

Surviving Frank are his wife Suzanne, daughters Anita (Kurt) Whitney of Midland, Angela (Bryon) Hacker of Quanicassee, Catherine Foor of Auburn, Christina Duarte of Lansing, and Janelle (Jason) Redmond of Auburn, and son Mark of California, as well as seven grandchildren, E.J. (Melissa) Nogaski, Alyssa Nogaski, Hannah Hacker, Kirsten (Joe) Swain, Nalani Duarte, Tyler and Madelyn Redmond, and one great-grandchild expected into the world next May. He is also survived by brothers Eugene, Larry, Patrick and Gerald, and sisters Geraldine, Theresa and Patricia. Frank was preceded in death by his parents, and brother Richard.

The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at 10am, Tuesday, September 20, 2011, from St. Anthony Catholic Church in Fisherville, Fr. Thomas Sutton will officiate with burial at St. Anthony Catholic Cemetery. The Adamcik family will receive friends at the Ware-Smith-Woolever Funeral Home on Monday from 4-8pm and at church on Tuesday from 9am until time of mass. A Vigil for the Deceased will take place at 7pm at the funeral home. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider "Brian's House" or "St. Jude". The family would like to thank the staff at Pine River Healthcare Center and Brian's House for their tender and loving care of Frank. And to those who knew of Frank's incessant sense of humor…."Have you heard of the Mad Cow disease?"
