WINEBRENNER, David L. (Dave) was born on January 29, 1929 in Merriam , Indiana and passed away on Tuesday, July 17, 2007 in Heartland of Springfield. He was preceded in death by his father, Jesse D. Winebrenner, his mother Mary Gandy Winebrenner and his brothers Tyrus and Martin. He is survived by his beloved wife of 50 years, Marie (Wilmer), his dear son Brent of Santa Barbara, California and numerous nieces and nephews. Dave attended Manchester College before graduating from Wheaton College . He subsequently earned a Masters Degree at Northwestern University . He retired as a Realtor with Link-Hellmuth, Ltd in 2000. Dave was a charter member of the Grace Bible Church , Springfield , Ohio where he faithfully served as an elder, a Sunday School teacher and church pianist for many years. Biblical truth was a source of confidence and anticipation to Dave in life and in death. One of Dave's favorite passages of Scripture was penned by the Apostle Paul in Roman's 14:8,9: "For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord's. For to this end Christ died, and rose, and revived, that He might be Lord both of the dead and the living." A memorial service will be held at 4 pm on Friday, July 20, 2007 at Grace Bible Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to either Grace Bible Church, 1500 Groop Road, Springfield , Ohio 45504 or the Springfield Paramedics Trust Fund, 350 North Fountain Ave., Springfield, Ohio 45504 .
