Esther Lou Arnold, of Sedalia, died Jul 31, 2011 at Rest Haven Convalescent and Retirement Home.
Pallbearers will be Rick Bird, Jared Arnold, M C Thierfelder, Jacob Williams, Joey Arnold and Jeremy Sanders.
Born Oct 31, 1924 in Rochester, MN, she was the daughter of the late Carl and Ella Osbourn Schaumberg. On Aug 31, 1940, she married Joseph C Arnold, Jr, who preceded her in death on Nov 11, 2000. Surviving are four sons, Robert "Buck" Arnold, of Sedalia, Larry D. Arnold (Nancy), of Sedalia, Ron Arnold (Linda), of Green Ridge, Don Arnold (Reeca), of Houstonia and Dennis Arnold (Brenda, of Sedalia; three daughters, Barbara Sanders (Jim), of Otterville, Jo Ann Thierfelder (Melvin), of Sedalia and Florence Bird (Richard), of Otterville; a sister-in-law, Frances Johnston; 28 grandchildren and many great, great-great and great-great-great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Frances Thompson.
Mrs. Arnold was a member of Lamine Baptist Church and was very active with the Lamine Community Center. She enjoyed crafts and crocheting.
