She was retired from Imperial Reading Corporation after 33 years of service and former member and past president of LaFollette Rescue Squad Crewettes.
She enjoyed going to the lake and houseboat with her husband, enjoyed traveling and had visited 48 states, loved bingo, and spending time with her family.
Preceded in death by husband, Gaylor "Chalk" Widener, son, Ronnie Widener, daughters, Peggy Jo Widener and Libby Goins, parents, Julius and Nannie Canady Ball, and sister, Christine Widener.
Survivors Daughter, Christine Paul and husband, Carl of LaFollette; sons, Jack Widener and wife, Marie of Duff and Bill Widener and wife, Patsy of Jacksboro; 9 grand children; 19 great grandchildren; sister, Carrie Lee Bryant of Jellico. Several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Services Sunday 8 P.M. at Walters Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Hobert McCreary officiating.
Graveside services and interment Monday 11 A.M. at Woodlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 6 to 8 P.M. before funeral services at Walters Funeral Home.
