Nashville, Tn. June 08, 1950

Lydia Ann Goodwin, 3, of Nashville, granddaughter of Henry Vinvert Burris and Lydia Irene Cummins Burris of
Fort Worth, TX. Died Tuesday afternoon at Nashville Hospital of injuries received shortly before noon when she was struck by an automobile near her home.
Service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Nashville.
Buried will be in Woodlawn Memorial Park, Nashville.
The child is a daughter to Mr. and Mrs. Earl Thomas
Goodwin Sr. of Nashville, Mrs. Goodwin is the former
Miss. Cecelia Jo Burris of Fort Worth.
Survivors in addition to those named are two brothers,
Earl Thomas Goodwin Jr. and David Ray Goodwin; a sister
Linda Elizabeth Goodwin and her Grandparents Malk
Goodwin and wife Annie Katherine Goodwin, all of Nashville, Tn.
Lydia Ann was struck by a slowly moving car driven by
Herman L. Lamb, 73 years old, of 1807 Boscobel Street, it was reported. Lamb's car was going eastbound on Lillian Street. The accident occurred at 11:45 a.m. within two door of the child home.
Officers quoted Lamb as saying he was driving about 10 miles per hour and he did not see the child or know that he had struck anyone until someone shouted at him. No arrest was made.
