Born in Jacksonville, Fla., Larry was a land development contractor who worked for the Deltona Corp., for more than 25 years. Most recently, he was employed with V.J. Usina, before retiring in 2006. Larry enjoyed fishing and also attended Turning Point at Calvary Church. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather, who will be greatly missed.
He was preceded in death by his father, George Roberts, and a sister, Patricia Ann Andreu
He is survived by his wife, Anne Roberts; a daughter, Tracy Roberts; sons, Michael Roberts, and his wife Joanie, and Brandon Roberts, and his wife, Ellene; a brother, Allan Roberts, and his wife, Camilla; a sister, Julie Pacetti Roberts, and her husband, Gary; his mother, Dorothy Ann Roberts; seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren, all of St. Augustine.
Funeral services will take place at 11 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 19, 2011 at St. Johns Family Funeral Home with the Rev. Greg Fisher, officiating. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Good Counsel Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 18, 2011 at St. Johns Family Funeral Home.
