Patricia J. Taylor, 77, of Huntington Twp., passed away Tuesday, September 13, 2011 at Hospice Care Center in Copley. She was born in Cleveland on July 18, 1934 to Sylvester and Julia Laskody Calta and was a 1952 graduate of Brunswick High School. She had resided in the Huntington area for over 30 years.
She was a member of Our Lady Help of Christians Parish and the Red Hat Society.
Surviving are her husband, Harold (Harry) to whom she was married for 57 years; children, William (Tamara) Taylor of Medina, Lynda (John) Taylor-Bartee of Parma, Lisa Hampton (Rebel Coombes) of Garner, North Carolina; grandchildren, John, Edward, Justin and Alex; sister, Lynette (Bob) School of Sanford, Florida; brothers, Sylvester (Joyce) Calta of Georgia, Jack Calta.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Sandra Merkle.
Funeral service will be Saturday, September 17, 2011 at 11 A.M. at Our Lady Help of Christians Parish, 9608 Norwalk Rd., Litchfield, OH 44253. Father Ron Bryda will officiate. Burial will follow at Huntington Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, September 16, 2011 from 2 to 4 P.M. and 7 to 9P.M. at Parker & Son Funeral Home, 202 East Main St., Spencer.
