Daughter of the late Thomas June and Pauline Hardy Payne, she was survived a son, Michael Shuler (Carolyn Hardwick, fiancee) and Gary Hemrick; brothers, Thomas Payne (Ann) and Bruce Payne (Peggy); one grandson; and an extended family of relatives. Her funeral was held on September 17, 2011. She enjoyed gardening, photography, cooking and reading.
