On September 12, 2011, Guy E. Marcum . Beloved husband of Mary E. Marcum (nee Rawls) and devoted father of Lisa D. Blackburn; dear father-in-law of Col. (Ret) David M. Blackburn; loving grandfather of Rebecca, Rachel and Katelyn Blackburn; dear brother of Naomi Simon, Lydia Reider, Meta Whaley, Susan Garrett, Allen Kay Marcum and the late Wayne and Lynn Marcum. Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

7922 Wise Avenue, Dundalk, Baltimore Co., MD∼Cornwall Road, Dundalk, Maryland resident Guy Edward Marcum died of a heart attack at his home on September 12, 2011. He was 81.
He was born to Howard C. and Ida P. Marcum, both of whom predeceased him.
He served in the 45th Infantry Division of the U.S. Army during the Korean War, earning a Purple Heart as well as a Combat Infantry Medal.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Mary Marcum, daughter Lisa Blackburn, siblings Allen K. Marcum, Naomi Simon, Lydia Reider, Meta Whaley and Susan Garrett and three grandchildren.
In addition to his parents he was predeceased by brothers Lynn Marcum and Wayne Marcum.
