87, of Mayfield died Thursday, September 15, 2011 at the Shannondale Health Care in Knoxville, Tn. Mrs. Sims was a retired employee of West KY R.E. C. C.; a member of First United Methodist Church and a member of the Red Hat Society.
She is survived by 2 sons Scott T. Sims of Knoxville, TN and Lee Sims of Lexington, KY; a sister Marian Jean Kremer of Seattle, WA and 2 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Bob Sims and her parents Floyd and Melinda Fray Chapman Humphries.
Services for Mrs. Sims will be 11:00AM Monday, September 19, 2011 in the Byrn Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Greg Waldrop officiating. Interment will follow in the Mayfield Memory Gardens. Visitation will be 5:00-8:00PM Sunday, September 18, 2011 at the Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield
