Mrs. Candace Spicklemier, who has been in the state hospital for many years, died at Oswatomie July 21. She was the daughter of R.M. Kincaid, of this city, and was a bright young lady once, and a school teacher. The body was brought to Willis and burial made at Claytonville.


FUNERAL NOTICE: Brown County World - August 2, 1907

The remains of Mrs. G.W. Spickelmier were brought here Wednesday and taken to the home of her daughter, Mrs. E.R. Coulter. Burial at Claytonville Cemetery Thursday, July 25.


Death Notice

R.M. Kincaid received a telegram Tuesday from Hiawatha, Kans. announcing the death of his sister, Mrs. G.W. Spickelmier. She was the mother of Omer Spickelmier, who left on the morning train Wednesday to attend the funeral. Owing to the uncertainty of the place of burial, Mr. Kincaid did not go. The relationship between the Spickelmier and Kincaid families is double, G.W. Spickelmier is a brother of Mrs. Kincaid and Mrs. Spickelmier of Mr. Kincaid.
