Loree Florene Brickey, 95, passed away Monday, March 17, 2003. Visitation with family 6 to 8 p.m. today, service 10 a.m. Friday, both at Resthaven Mortuary. Private burial will be in Caldwell, Kansas.
Mrs. Brickey was born on Feb. 27, 1908 in Appleton City, Mo., to the late Walter J. and Fannie Mae (Younger) Stanford.
Loree was known for her outgoing and positive personality and strong love for her family. She was a long time employee of Buck's Department store and a retired long time employee of Intrust Bank. She was a long time member of College Hill United Methodist Church and more recently, West Heights U.M. Church. She was a 54 year member of the Rose Douglas Chapter of Eastern Star.
Preceded in death by: husband, Luther O.; brother B. K. Stanford; sister, Frances Scott; grandson, Sterling S. Lambdin.
Survivors: daughter and son-in-law, Frances L. and Donald E. Lambdin of Maize; granddaughters and husbands, Lisa L. Lambdin-Lang and John Lang, Susane Lambdin-English and John Patrick English, all of Wichita; great-grandchildren, Charles G. and Maeve K. Lambdin, both of Wichita, Emily Lambdin of Kansas City, Mo.; brother and sister-in-law, John G. and Jeanette Stanford of Pryor, Okla.; nephews, Dale Molesworth, Dr. Jack Warren, Dr. Roger Holmes, Bill Stanford and Johnnie Stanford; nieces, Joan Drew, Joy Dixon, Vicki Churchman, Judy Dunbar, Mary Kline and Carol Scott.
