Monique was the only child of Herman and Eugenia Marcouse of Geneva, Switzerland. Monique met Joseph Davis during a visit to America and after a brief courtship were soon married.
Monique and Joe's life together included many globe trotting adventures but of all their accomplishments, nothing compared to that of the rearing of two wonderful children.
She is survived by her adoring husband, Joe, and her two children: Max Daniel, and his wife, Rose; Deborah Eve and her husband Tom. Monique was also the proud and doting grandmother of four grandchildren: Cameron and Justin McCarthy, and Max and Juliet Davis.
Our wonderful Monique, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away suddenly on September 13, 2011 from natural causes.
Our heart aches with the loss of Monique who was the most generous and loving wife and mother. She was a rare jewel that made all our lives so beautiful and meaningful.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Sunday at Mount Sinai Memorial Park, Hollywood Hills.
