Wife of John D. Hertz. She was a member of a well-to-do Chicago family, and she married John D. Hertz on July 15, 1903. The marriage proved to be an enduring and happy one. They had three children: the late Leona Hertz Saks, the eldest; the late John Hertz, Jr., a former advertising executive; and the late Helen Hertz Hexter. Frannie Hertz always supported and was hand in hand with many of her husband's business intrests, while caring for their family. She was listed as owner of 2 Kentucky Derby winners- Reigh Count and Count Fleet. Count Fleet went onto win horse racing's Triple Crown. There is a foundation in her and her husbands name that carries on their works today. There is no birth or death information available for Frannie Hertz at this time.
