Mr. Weese was born Sept. 4, 1932, in Durgon, Hardy County, WV, and was a son of the late Edward Weese and Ruth Evelyn Bumphrey Weese.
He served in the Army from 1953 to 1955 and was a mechanic and laborer for Jr. Hinkle for 50 years. He attended school in Moorefield, WV and played on the Durgon Softball team. He was a member of Bakers Chapel United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his companion, Shirley Hinkle; two sisters, Helen Chamouris of Winchester and Anna Mazalewski of Baker, WV; a brother, Roy Weese of Moorefield, WV; and 10 nieces and nephews.
The funeral was Tuesday in Petersburg, WV, conducted by the Rev. Lyle Berg. Burial in the Bumphrey Cemetery with military honors by the VFW Post 6454 and the Jr. ROTC.
