Miss Brittany Kristine Blankenship, 20, of Mocksville passed away Monday, September 12, 2011 at her home. She was born June 16, 1991 in Forsyth County to Frank Eugene and Angela Hayes Blankenship. Brittany was a graduate of Davie High School in 2009 and was a member of Hillsdale United Methodist Church where she was baptized. She was a loving and energetic girl with a big heart, who loved people and always enjoyed being around them. She was a very talented artist, with many loving friends, who loved the beach, her family and especially her brothers. She also loved animals, especially "Sofie". Brittany was her mother's little angel, her grandmother's princess and she loved her daddy dearly. She was Jason's baby sister and her little brother's Will and Austin looked up to her. She was dearly loved by her family. Preceding her in death was her grandfather, Gray Hayes and grandparents, Frank and Juanita Blankenship. She is survived by her parents of Mocksville; three brothers, Jason, William and Austin Blankenship; her grandmother, Patricia Hayes; uncles, Don Hayes and Roy Blankenship; aunts, Jill Ellison, Donna Blankenship and Yvonne Drisoll and her cousins, Jessie Hayes, Brad Ellison, Kenyon Blankenship, Tasha and Chad Cheek and Jesse Blankenship.
