Wavelette was the oldest child of Walter Leake Brockman Jr and Adeline Smith Brockman. Her father was a photographer in 1880 and then became a carpenter to support the family.

She had 9 other siblings: Wilbur Egbert Brockman, John Crawford Brockman, Clive W. Brockman, Bertha Isabel Brockman, Claude Irl Brockman, Cecilia Irene Brockman, Walter Clayton Brockman, Charles Conner Brockman, and Harold W. Brockman.

In 1893, her brother, Walter, died when he was only 20 months old. In 1905, her brother, Clive, died in an explosion that destroyed a ship he was serving on.

Wavelette married Carl Joachin Moll on September 20, 1905 in Des Moines, Polk County, Iowa when she was 28 years old. The family lived with Carl's parents, Charles and Hilke, during the early years of their marriage. Both Charles and Carl worked as carpenters.

Wavelette's Brockman family decided to leave Iowa and move to the San Francisco, California area after the big earthquake of 1908, where they worked in rebuilding the city.

The Moll family stayed in the same Des Moines neighborhood for the rest of their lives (Jefferson Ave/16th Street/Franklin Ave) while they raised their family of 4 children and Carl continued working as a carpenter.

Wavelette died in 1944 at age 66 and Carl died in 1949 at age 69. They are buried together in the Chapel Hill Cemetery.

The one daughter that is not listed below in the Find-a-Grave memorials is Helen Louise Brockman Stein, who was born c. 1907. She married an Abe Stein.
