She was preceeded in death by her husband George A Veloudos. She is survived by her daughter Vasiliki and son Thanasi Veloudos.

RACHEL MARKELLA VELOUDOS

Rachel Markella Veloudos, 72, died Oct. 4, 2003, in Oregon.

She was born Feb. 1, 1931, in Charleston, S.C., and was a longtime

resident of Burbank.

She and her late husband, George, owned and operated several

restaurants in the Los Angeles area.

She was president of the local parent-teacher association and

directed the choir at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church in

Northridge. She was also active in the "G" Street Gym.

Mrs. Veloudos is survived by her daughter, Vasiliki; son, Thanasi;

her brother and sister; and many nieces and nephews.

The funeral service was Tuesday at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox

Church. The interment followed at Grand View Memorial Park, Glendale.
