Kansas, PVT, Co. F, 10 US Infantry. Enlisted Sept 1890, Ft. Leavenworth KS. Served in Ft. Riley KS in connection with the Sioux Indian Rebellion in SD. Discharged Oct 1891.
Served as a deputy in Pawnee, Indian Territory. Was a cattlelman, and the first tax collector sent into Osage County, OK, where he later served as an Indian agent and deputy sheriff. Died in the government hospital in Muskogee, Oklahoma.
Married widow Elizabeth Doolin Duggan in Winfield KS, 1894; no record of divorce. Married widow Amy Timmons Crume in 1920; the couple divorced in 1921.
