Funeral services for George Glasscock Moore, 62, prominent El Dorado oil man who died in a Shreveport hospital Friday afternoon, will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at St. Mary's Episcopal Church.

The Rev. J. Rayford McLean, Rector, will officiate, assisted by The Rev. T. P. Devlin of Pine Bluff, a former rector of the church. Burial will be in Arlington Cemetery under the direction of Rumph Mortuary.

Active pallbearers will be O. C. Bailey, E. E. Paxton, E. N. Kimes, R. L. Aycock, C. D. Elmore, L. H. Horton, C. W. Everett, and James McWilliams.

Honorary pallbearers will include Robert E. Adair, Sam M. Richardson, Dr. Rex Barrow, A. R. Graves of Longview, Tex., W. A. Hammond, H. C. McDuff and G. P. Brown, all of Shreveport; Sam M. Gladney of Dallas; K. L. Dominy, Frank Willenburg and J. E. Chapman all of Fort Worth; R. T. Colquette of Houston; H. J. Mariner of Tulsa; members of the Vestry of St. Mary's Church and of the El Dorado Rotary Club, and all friends of the oil fraternity.

Mr. Moore, who died after an illness of several months, was the son of the late Joseph Baller and Anna B. Moore. He was born in Fort Worth but moved to Houston as a small boy. He was reared and received his education there. He was familiar with many of the oilfields of the Southwest as a young man.

He came to El Dorado in 1922 and was employed by Root Petroleum Co. as manager of production and pipeline. When Root became Pan-Am Southern he was made general manager of pipeline. At the time of his death he was pipeline manager of Service Pipeline Co., one of the subsidiaries of Standard Oil of Indiana.

He was active in oil circles in the mid-continent, a former director of the El Dorado Chamber of Commerce, a member of the local Rotary Club and of El Dorado Golf and Country Club, and a communicant of St. Mary's Episcopal Church, where he served on the Vestry for a number of years and at various times filled the offices of both senior and junior warden.

Mr. Moore leaves his widow of El Dorado; a daughter, Mrs. Leonard Green of Little Rock; a sister, Miss Anna Belle Moore of Houston; a granddaughter, Connie Green of Little Rock; a niece, Sister Mary Humberline, St. Joseph's Hospital, Hot Springs; and a nephew, J. B. Moore of El Dorado.

** He was originally buried in Arlington Memorial Park in El Dorado, Union Co., Arkansas. When his widow relocated to Houston, Harris Co., Texas, she had his remains relocated to Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery and reinterred in the family plot.
